Christening
If you are thinking of a christening for yourself or your children christened, please fill in the contact form and we will get back to you. For children being christened we ask that you come to one of our church services, this can be a Sunday morning, Messy Church or Muddy Church. We also ask that you attend a baptism preparation evening where we take time to think about what it means to be baptised (every wondered why we talk about christenings and baptism you’ll find out), what are the promises we make, what about God Parents, what we believe and what will happen on the day. On this evening, we will agree a date for the christening.
If you are an adult, then the process is similar, but as an adult you will be making the promised in the service yourself and so we encourage you to regularly attend services and the vicar will discuss with you appropriate preparation.
If you are on your own or the whole family wants to be christening, please do get in touch. To find out more about christenings see the Church of England website.

Confirmation
When we are christened as children our God Parents make promises on our behalf. At a service of confirmation, you confirm those promises for yourself. If you haven’t been baptised this is not a problem, and you will be confirmed and baptised at the same time. We encourage you to become part of our church fellowship where we can support and help you on your journey of faith.

Wedding
Marriage is an expression of the love of a couple and a way to proclaim that love before God, family and friends. Our intimate chapel at Sutton Hill can seat up to 70-90 guests and is ideal for your special day. We change the church around to create an aisle and dress the church to create a beautiful sacred space for your wedding.
If you are thinking of getting married please fill in the contact form and someone will contact you.
For help in planning your wedding then please see the Church of England website.
Wedding Banns
If you are not getting married in the parish where you live and you are being married in church, then you will need to have your Banns read. For this to happen you will need to meet with the Vicar and complete a Banns form, producing the required ID. This is a legal requirement, and the ID required is specific. Please complete the contact form and someone will contact you.
