Severn Link Group
In October 2021, a group of six parishes were formally joined together to make up the Severn Link Group.
The group has 3 incumbents of equal status that manager the group mission and ministry together with a group council, members of which are drawn from the parishes PCC’s. Although each parish context is unique, we have much in common as we share the Good News of Jesus Christ ‘not to do things separately that we might do better together’.
The group parishes are: Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge, Little Wenlock, Madeley, Sutton Hill and Woodside.

Schools ‘Experiences’
In the Severn Link Group, we have 6 primary schools of which only 2 are church schools.
Each year we invite all the schools to come into our churches, sending their Year 3 to Experience Easter, Year 4 Experience Harvest and Year 6 It’s Your Move. All this is only possible with a dedicated team of volunteers drawn from the 6 churches in the group.

Muddy Church
Muddy Church started when we could only meet outside. We now meet every school holiday and at festival times. Our summer holiday events is especially popular. We wander and wonder at God's marvellous creation. Nature activities, bible stories, songs and prayers are all important. Food, fun and fellowship are what we look forward too.
Muddy Church draws from families not just from Sutton Hill and Woodside but across the Severn Link Group and Madeley Baptist Church, where members of all these congregations join together to celebrate God's creation.
