Woodside Church
Woodside church does not have a church building but meets in the Park Lane Centre at the regenerated centre of the 1970’s Woodside housing estate.
We meet every Wednesday morning at 11.15am for Celtic morning worship.
The church on Woodside has ebbed and flowed over the years and today we have a weekly presence each Wednesday morning, with Space to Be and Space for Prayer.
We have good relations with the Park Lane Centre and other groups that use the centre and with the local care home of Bennett’s house who we visit regularly. There are 2 local primary schools who we in contact with, especially Woodlands Primary school who we visit and support regularly.
Intergenerational mission is at the heart of our mission on the estate and Messy Church is our main act of worship.

Space To Be is a drop in on Woodside each Wednesday morning. It is a place to relax, colour, play a game or simply have a coffee and a chat. All are welcome please do drop in grab a cuppa and simply be.

On a Wednesday immediately after Space to Be, we have a short time of prayer. To pray for the community and those we know. This a reflective time and an opportunity to recentre ourselves in the middle of the week.
