Sutton Hill Church
Sutton Hill Church is an Anglican Christian Fellowship which meets in a versatile building built in the late 60’s. Situated in the centre of Sutton Hill housing estate, in the south of Telford, we are actively involved in our community.
We meet every Sunday at 10.30am.
The church building consists of a chapel, which seats up to 100, a coffee bar area, a large meeting room and the parish office. The versatile seating arrangement has enabled it to be used for Alpha courses, parish and wider church events, community meetings, Messy Church and Experience Easter to name a few. The church is also regularly used by the local community for meetings, social event and we are the base for the local Girl Guiding groups.
Weekly attendance is around 20 adults and 5 - 10 children. We have a heart for intergenerational mission and worship which means Sunday worship is a whole family activity. In addition to Sunday worship, we have Messy Church. Muddy Church, Youth Church and regular study groups.
Situated at the centre of the Sutton Hill estate, we are next to the supermarket, the Hub on the Hill Community Centre and Sir Alexander Fleming Primary School. Its location is a witness to the presence of God’s people at the heart of the community.
We are a church with a heart for our community, a dedicated group of people, travelling together on our faith journey with Jesus, sharing the Good News in both word and actions.
